Nars offers up a new skincare‐makeup hybrid in the Light Reflecting Tone‐Up Veil SPF 27/PA++, which can be used alone to give a my‐skin‐but‐better look, or under makeup as a primer. Thanks to skin‐loving ingredients such as peptides, prebiotics and probiotics, it smooths the look of textured skin and tackles dullness while providing sun protection. Clarins expands its ultra‐luxurious Precious skincare collection with the launch of the new L’Huile en Serum, a unique oil‐in‐serum that marries the nourishing qualities of an oil with the targeted benefits of a serum. As with all the Precious products, the Moonlight Flower cryoextract is at the heart of this formulation. Boasting potent anti -ageing properties, this concentrate is the essence of the rare flower which blooms just once a year, obtained through a laborious process that involves hand‐harvesting the flowers within two hours of them blooming, and then freezing and processing them. The product itself has a comforting texture similar to that of a face oil, yet is non‐greasy and easily absorbable. With the skin’s natural reparative process at its peak at night, L’Huile en Serum is particularly effective when used as part of an evening routine.

It is easy to understand why Takami’s Skinpeel Essence, which is made in Tokyo, has earned a cult following in its home country and abroad. Designed to be “step zero” in your skincare routine post‐cleansing, this innovative essence is suitable for all ages, genders and skin types, including sensitive and acne‐prone skin. A daily exfoliant that promotes cell turnover, the formulation, comprising just 13 ingredients, including a proprietary blend of seven fruit extracts, is gentle on the skin, ensuring that it remains healthy and retains its natural pH balance. Due to its lightweight, watery texture, it absorbs quickly into the skin, prepping it for subsequent skincare products. The promise is that with consistent use, the lotion will gradually smoothen and brighten the skin.

Lancôme marks a significant milestone this year with the launch of Génifique Ultimate, a revolutionary serum that promises to transform skin repair. Building on 27 years of research, this innovative formula features Beta Glucan‐CM, a powerful ingredient that helps enhance the skin’s natural ability to recover from damage. Remarkably, extensive clinical studies conducted by the brand have shown that with regular use, Génifique Ultimate can repair a year’s worth of skin damage in just one week. The serum’s unique formulation means that each precious drop contains 90 trillion Beta‐Glucans, which work to soothe irritation, restore the moisture barrier, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and redness. This lightweight serum is designed for all skin types and serves as the perfect first step post‐toning. It can also be used as a hydrating make‐up base. To reduce glass waste, it is housed in a refillable bottle.
