What is your skin type?

Sensitive or normal.

Who or what influenced your skincare routine?

I'm a late bloomer when it comes to skincare. I remember my sister and the blogger besties telling me to put on skincare as early as possible and that my future self will thank my past self for it!

How did you find a skincare routine that works for you? How long did it take?

I still try new products up until now. If I find something that suits my skin, I stick to it. And then if I find a product that's more effective, then I switch to that one. One tip if you want to keep trying and looking for that perfect skincare product for you: try it on one part of your face first to see if you'll get any reactions. If there's none, slowly apply it to your whole face and wait for a few days for the results.

What is your complete evening skincare routine? Are you able to maintain this when travelling?

It really depends on how dry my skin feels at night. If I feel like I need to put on more products, then I will. But really, my evening skincare routine is: cleansing oil to remove my makeup, cleansing facial wash, serum, and then moisturiser.

And on days where I feel like my skin needs some extra loving, I add toner, essence and some sheet mask.

Which face masks do you love to use?

I love Mediheal nmf and AHC face masks!

As an avid traveller, does your evening skincare routine change to prepare for transitional weather?

Definitely. I use more oils and thick creams when I go to colder countries and water-based beauty products when I go to the beach.

What products do you consider your holy grail of skincare?

La Mer concentrate (love using this especially if I'm coming from a long-haul flight), Laneige lavender water sleeping mask for some overnight hydration, Shu Uemura cleansing oil, Guerlain watery youth oil (if your face is super dry or if you're travelling to a colder country), Kiehl's midnight concentrate, Innisfree green tea seed serum and cream, and Cetaphil facial cleanser (if you're looking for a mild yet effective facial wash).

Can you tell us about your beauty horror story?

This happened years back. Long story short, I've been buying this product from a derma of what I thought was a moisturiser, but apparently, it was a steroids cream. I only found out a few years after that I was using steroids cream on my face daily for years! I immediately stopped using it after finding out and my skin went through the worst breakout of my life. Shared more on my vlog actually.

How often do you practise skin fasting (a break from skincare)?

My skin fasting isn't totally a break from all skincare products; I still use a mild facial cleanser but that's about it. I rarely practice this but I do it maybe 1-2 times a year.
