An inaugural partnership between the cosmetics company and the iconic Orchard Road mall to raise awareness for the disease
The Estée Lauder Companies’ (ELC) Breast Cancer Campaign illuminated Ion Orchard in pink over the weekend, raising awareness of the disease that “deserves global attention year-round,” says Becky Lee, managing director of Estée Lauder Companies Singapore Affiliate.
This year, the breast cancer community was engaged in a Pink Day Out at the mall—from a beauty workshop with Estée Lauder to a recycled leather crafting workshop at Bynd Artisan. The initiative aimed to treat the local women in the community to a day of indulgence, while building their confidence and spotlighting the impact of the disease.

“With signature events like the Pink Light Up, we unite to amplify our messages of awareness and solidarity, rallying the collective community for advocacy and support,” adds Adeline Kow, general manager of The Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore.
Ion Orchard has also partnered with the Estée Lauder Companies in fundraising for breast cancer-related causes and research with Pink Ribbon beauty products, launched exclusively at the mall. This year’s brands include Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, La Mer and Origins. The special-edition products can be purchased throughout the rest of October, with a percentage of sales supporting various campaign partners including BCF.
