I wash my face every day, but I don't overdo it. For my regular morning routine, I use a very light and gentle cleanser, followed by a hydration essence, then a moisturiser. The moisturiser I use is the Herbal Sensitive Day Balm from Sans Soucis, and I have been using it for almost 10 years now. I have sensitive and dry skin, so I can’t use products that are too oily. It has to have the right balance, and this moisturiser has been perfect for me.

I put on sunblock occasionally, but I know I should be more consistent with it. Whenever I know I’m going to be exposed to the sun, whether I’m working out outdoors or picking up my child from school, I’ll apply sunblock. I keep my makeup light, just a simple concealer and a powder.

At night, I use a foamy cleanser. Depending on how dry my skin feels, sometimes I like to give my skin a break, so I don’t always apply additional products after cleansing my face. I know a lot of people apply products to rejuvenate their skin overnight, but sometimes I feel like my skin needs to breathe and take a break from products. Three days a week I’ll put on a night balm after cleansing, and for the other days, I don’t do anything else after cleansing.

I keep my skincare minimal. I don’t use any face masks or toners. I haven’t gotten a facial in nearly a year, but I do plan to get one sometime soon. Other than skincare, I drink tons of water, and I hardly ever drink cold water unless I’m really craving it. Even on hot days, I normally drink room-temperature water.

Moisturising and collagen are very important. I also keep myself active, because you need to sweat if you want to have good skin. In terms of collagen, I use quite a few supplements, but they’re usually collagen powder. One of them is Vital Proteins’ Collagen Peptides, which is good for your skin, hair, nails, and joint support. It’s made from grass-fed beef, which is the best kind of collagen. Of course, drinking plenty of water and making sure you get seven to eight hours of sleep every day are also very important. It’s pretty generic, but everyone should do this.

Before meals, I take supplements such as liposomal glutathione, Methyl B Complex, DHEA, and NAD+ Platinum. After meals, I take garlic pills, co-enzyme, zinc, Co Q-10 antioxidant grape seed, vitamin C, collagen, as well as hyaluronic supplements. I go the extra mile by taking intravenous drips for an extra dose of vitamin C, multivitamins, glutathione, and NAD. LED red light therapy has also done wonders for my skin.

Keeping your body healthy is essential. I stay hydrated with alkaline water or herbal tea, which are both healthy and good for your skin. I also often eat fresh vegetables and clean meat to maintain healthy skin and avoid consuming any processed food. I stay active by exercising at least three times a week, and I try to be surrounded by nature as often as I can as it will heal all the negative energy. I also meditate with sound baths and prayers to keep my mind and overall well-being healthy.

Prioritising self-love and self-care is key. Make sure you get plenty of good, deep sleep, and whenever you can, treat yourself to a facial or body massage. Buy yourself flowers, light up candles, and indulge in a flower, crystal, or milk bath from time to time. Surround yourself with loved ones and connect with positive people. Be compassionate and have gratitude. Have fun being a friend, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a career woman, and a mother, because if you smile, the whole universe will smile back at you.

In the mornings, I don’t wash my face with soap, just water. I find that it helps to keep my skin balanced. That’s my main beauty secret. Other than that, I just use regular skincare products like serum, eye cream, and moisturiser. I play a lot of sports, so moisturising is very important for me, and of course, sunscreen is a must. I’ve been loving the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen as it has a light and hydrating formula, which doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. I also use Supergoop’s sunscreens, both the matte and glow sunscreens. I switch between products depending on how I’m feeling, but those are my main go-to's.

As for moisturiser, I don’t really stick to one particular brand, but I typically use something lighter during the day and something heavier at night. Above all, hygiene is absolutely important, that means avoiding touching and picking your face.

My beauty routine is mostly sticking to what works for me and nourishing myself from the inside out. I’m not into exploring the latest or most expensive skincare, but I do stick to what has worked for me over the years. I only wash my face with a facial cleanser once a day to avoid stripping off my natural oils, followed by toner, serum, and moisturiser, along with monthly facials.

I am a firm believer in “your skin shows up whatever it receives.” When you feed it and nurture it well, it will reflect on your skin, and the results are definitely amazing. A bonus tip would be to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly as a holistic skincare routine for glowing skin. In terms of diet, I try to eat home-cooked meals as much as I can, as well as fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and protein that keep your skin happy and clear. Eating junk food will give your skin breakouts, dullness, and fine lines, but a well-balanced diet can be so rewarding.

Remember to drink enough water to keep your skin moist and hydrated. Also, emptying your bowels every day can do wonders for keeping that glow, trust me! For me, it’s truly about keeping yourself youthful from within.
