2. Murad Vita-C Glycolic Serum

Dr Howard Murad’s eponymous skincare label, a highly regarded skincare brand in the US, has debuted in Hong Kong this month. One of its star products is the Vita-C Glycolic Serum, which—as the name suggests—contains vitamin C, that is said to help your skin look healthier and smoother.

3. Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Color Corrector

Makeup artist Huda Khattan’s make-up brand Huda Beauty is launching a colour corrector later this month, which is said to target uneven skin tone sometimes found in the under-eye area. Available in five shades, Pink Pomelo, Peach, Mango, Papaya and Blood Orange, the creamy formula said to work well with a variety of skin tones.

4. Origins Checks and Balances Milky Oil

This cleanser and make-up remover from Origins contains rice oil, almond oil, squalane and plant-derived glycerin. Its gentle formula is said to remove make-up and impurities without leaving your skin feeling dry. Use it as a first step in your double-cleansing routine.

Make-up artist Laura Mercier’s eponymous brand has just launched the Caviar Stick Eye Shadow Matte in nine shades. These long-lasting colours, ranging from rust to mauve, are perfect for most skin tones. What’s more, they are easy to apply, the stick gliding smoothly over the eyelids to give your eyes extra pizzazz in just one swipe.

6. Tatcha Indigo Collection Indigo Cleansing Balm

In Japan, indigo dyeing has been popular since the Edo period (1603-1867), with indigo-dyed clothing being preferred by the people for the dye’s antibacterial and insect-repellent properties. Even the samurai wore indigo clothing to prevent wound infections.

Fast-forward to today, and Japanese beauty brand Tatcha has infused extracts of the indigo plant extracts into its skincare collection—which is named after the plant—to harness its skin-soothing elements. The latest from this range is the Indigo Cleansing Balm, which is said to remove make-up without removing the skin’s natural moisture, while the title ingredient promises to soothe skin irritation.

7. Dior Forever Rouge Blush

Dior Beauty is launching 16 new shades of its Rouge Blush, each available in four finishes—matte, satin, shimmer and hologram—to complement a plethora of looks, from subtle daily make-up to an ultra-glam party one. Created by Dior Beauty’s creative director Peter Philips, each blush consists of super-fine pigments that blend seamlessly on the skin, giving you naturally rosy cheeks.

8. Dior Vernis Collection

Also created by Philips is the new Dior Vernis Collection of nail polishes that are available in 21 shades, from the lightest pink to the most intense red. The formula of the new product includes pistachio oil and peony extract, both of which are said to help protect the nails. The collection also includes a base varnish and a top coat which contain nourishing apricot oil.

9. Olaplex Lashbond Building Serum

California-based haircare brand Olaplex has turned its attention towards eyelashes with the new Lashbond Building Serum. This clear, lightweight product contains peptides, hyaluronic acid and biotin which are said to improve hair growth, giving your lashes a fuller appearance.

Also focusing on lashes is Benefit, with a new mascara that’s said to create a volumising effect with just one swipe. The formula is lightweight, so clumping and flaking should be a distant memory, and it’s sweat-proof as well, which lessens the chance of smudging. Meanwhile, ingredients such as provitamin B5 help make the lashes stronger.

11. Ignae Volcanic Clay Mask

Vegan beauty brand Ignae from Azores Island, Portugal, has just released the Volcanic Clay Mask. Contain Azorean volcanic clay, rosehip oil and sunflower oil, this mask is said to decadent spa treatment at home due to its cooling and soothing effect on the skin.

12. Carthusia Essence of the Park

Italian perfume brand Carthusia has opened its first Asia flagship store in Hong Kong earlier this month. One of their highlighted fragrances is the Essence of the Park, a gender-neutral perfume with notes of magnolia, citrus fruits, wood and amber. Every whiff is supposed to remind you of the Mediterranean breeze.
