For furniture designers Neoh Kim Hin and Goh Boon Sin of by Hogen (@byhogenofficial), everyday luxury is achieved only when a piece looks right, feels right, and fits seamlessly into the flow of human interaction. This exact philosophy draws them to the GWM WEY G9 (@gwmmalaysia), where they encounter an automotive design that mirrors their own approach of building spaces around people rather than forcing people to adapt to spaces. Currently open at the Royal Selangor (@royalselangor) Visitor Centre in Setapak until October 18, the ‘Telepuk: The Imprint of Heritage’ exhibition brings renewed attention to the skills and knowledge behind the centuries-old Malay textile art form of ‘telepuk’. In line with the revival, the homegrown pewter maker has also released Telepuk Collector’s Set, featuring six pewter plaques that mirror after 77 ‘telepuk’ woodblocks from the 1920s, currently held at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London. Yet, the significance of the project raises a larger question: how can knowledge passed down through generations remain relevant to those encountering it for the first time today? A beautiful office is not the same as a healthy one. Design wins awards for how a space looks, but your health is decided by how an office responds on an ordinary day: whether the air keeps up when a room fills, whether there is somewhere to think and whether anyone responds when people say something isn't working. If you run an office or simply work in one, those are fair questions to ask. Swipe for what makes an office health, then send this to the colleague who always knows which meeting room gets stuffy first. #TatlerLimitless Photo: ChatGPT

The recently launched Eden Taman Duta (@brdb.eden) sits on 12.25 acres in Taman Duta that BRDB has owned since 1997. For a land the company has held for decades before committing to a design, co-deputy CEO Yasmin Khan is careful about how she frames that gap, and how “the question was never when to build, but what this place genuinely warranted.” Link in bio for the full story. Co-deputy CEO of BRDB Yasmin Khan is wary of the phrase resort living, given how loosely the property industry tends to use it. Eden Taman Duta (@brdb.eden) is built from specific, repeated decisions rather than a marketing line. In that account, in that account, the home “stops being a backdrop to life and becomes something far more restorative, a place one genuinely looks forward to returning to.” Link in bio for the full story.
