These Philippine companies are being recognised by the renowned Stevie Awards for their innovative intellect

Widely regarded as the world’s premier business award, the Stevie Awards has been the ultimate arbiter for workplace achievements over the past 22 years. With origins in the US, the Stevie Awards has been the ultimate arbiter for workplace achievements and entrepreneurial excellence. Winners have been announced for the 11th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the only awards programme to recognise business innovation in all 29 markets of the region.

The awards banquet will be held on May 24 at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, where guests can celebrate alongside the prestigious award winners.

Among the top overall winners are Watsons, with 28 Stevie Awards in total from their offices in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan in categories like Innovation in the Use of Social Media and Innovation in Consumer Product & Service Industries. 

PLDT and Smart of Metro Manila, Philippines, comes next with 12 wins in categories like Innovation in Cause-related Videos, Innovative Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility, and Innovation in Content Marketing/Branded Editorial. 

Ayala Land also won 10 Stevie Awards in categories including Innovation in House Organisations and Publications and Innovation in the Use of Events.

In 2023, a public voting component was added to the programme called the People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favourite Companies and is currently ongoing until April 30. Consumers can vote for the company that they believe has served them well and deserve special recognition. The special award also allows organisations to have an opportunity to receive a second award, as voted by the general public worldwide.
