For this mother-and-daughter duo, insuring one’s life and future need no waiting

As the first Filipino life insurance company, Insular Life (InLife) has been around for over 112 years. They have survived world wars, political movements, and recently, the Covid-19 pandemic. For the past century, they’ve helped Filipinos plan ahead and be ready for any danger. To amplify the company’s mission, InLife has tasked the country’s “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta and her daughter Miel Pangilinan to be their new brand ambassadors.

“InLife allows us to be Dreamweavers. . .With a trusted partner that believes in our dreams, we can fearlessly pursue our passions and cultivate our own artistry. Let us embrace the spirit of artists and take the courage to dream big,” shared Cuneta.

Having started her entertainment career at the young age of 12, Cuneta is one of the few renowned actors the Philippines unanimously loves. Coupled with her firm belief in inclusivity and diversity, Cuneta is presented with an opportunity to inspire families to think of the future. “Everything that InLife imparts is the same things I’ve imparted to my children,” Cuneta quipped. She also shares her sentiments on why everyone should get insurance "If you haven't thought of insurance yet, I think it's the best time. . .Why wait for another pandemic? Get insurance as soon as possible so that you and your loved ones don't have to worry."

Her daughter, Pangilinan, on the other hand, is eager to express herself with InLife. As an aspiring artist, she looks forward to sounding off InLife’s message of dreaming big and exploring the good in life among the youth. “One of my biggest dreams in life is to become a successful visual artist, and I’m very glad that I’m with InLife because I feel like they can help me secure that future that I want so badly.”

Nina Aguas, Executive Chairperson of InLife, also shared the company’s dedication to the Filipino people through this partnership. “They are the perfect advocates. They’re passionate about inclusivity, diversity, and they’re forward-looking. We want to impact all generations, and it’s just the right time to attract the youth to think about their financial future.”

InLife President and CEO, Raoul Littaua, expressed his gratitude towards the mother-and-daughter duo and shared their plans for the future. “A lot of our plans with Sharon and Miel are through digital media because that’s what people really follow these days. We’ll also have out-of-home advertising and events. As for how long the contract would last, I’d like to say hopefully forever,” said Littaua.

To cap things off, Cuneta sang the chorus of her hit song Bituing Walang Ningning to describe the partnership.
