PETA Theatre’s adaptation of the beloved Filipino modern classic One More Chance was captivating. It brought fresh perspectives on friendship, breakups, moving on, and rekindling relationships.

The musical adaptation of One More Chance stayed faithful to the original and boldly explored elements and details that the 2007 film couldn’t. For instance, it delved into the background stories of each ‘Thursday Barkada’ member, making the show more relatable to audiences.

It was also able to give an insight into what Trisha (Popoy’s girlfriend post-breakup) may have felt after being cheated on by the lead characters.

Overall, the musical was a resounding success, leaving a long-lasting impression on everyone lucky to witness it.

In case you missed it: PETA’s ‘One More Chance’ is a screen-to-stage adaptation that introduces a classic to a new generation
