1. Yayasan Generasi Gemilang

Yayasan Generasi Gemilang is improving access to education and providing basic needs for vulnerable communities in Malaysia. This charity organisation runs reading and mentorship programmes and has been providing connectivity packages to school students during the pandemic to attend virtual classes. This festive season, Yayasan Generasi Gemilang has also sourced artisanal crafts from low-income communities, which are perfect for gifting.

2. National Cancer Society Malaysia

This non-profit organisation provides education, care and support services for people affected by cancer and beyond. From providing screenings to marginalised communities to providing multilingual resources, including guides and videos, to educate the general public, NCSM is making a real and tangible difference in the lives of countless Malaysians.

3. Reef Check Malaysia

Reef Check Malaysia is responsible for monitoring and spearheading conservation efforts for over 200 coral reefs around the country. Corals are one of the most important ecosystems on the planet in supporting biomarine diversity, protecting coastlines, and providing economic value. With a significant portion of coral reefs impacted by climate change and other human activity, it is vital to protect them from any further damage.

4. Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia

Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia wants to help hungry B40 families in Malaysia by providing a halal and safe food supply, while eliminating the rampant food waste among grocers, restaurants and retailers in the country.

5. Second Chance Animal Society

SCAS shelter houses over 500 dogs rescued from injury, abuse and abandonment. If you're an animal lover, you have the choice of donating funds, volunteering your time to help out or even, adopting one of these adorable pups to become your new best friend.

6. Kechara Soup Kitchen Society

From the homeless, urban poor and orang asli community to those recently affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and the flood, the Kechara Soup Kitchen continues to serve marginalised communities in Malaysia more than 13 years after it was founded.

7. Free Tree Society

This organisation is all about educating Malaysians about the environment by giving away free trees while providing real and enjoyable experiences to the public. Emphasising the importance of biodiversity and sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting and waste management, they play an important part as environmental stewards in Malaysia.

8. Green Ribbon Group

Green Ribbon Group aims to end the stigma around mental health. "We see ourselves as 'aggregators' of the mental health community in Malaysia with three main objectives – to advocate, to fundraise and to collaborate," states co-founder Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan Al-Sultan Abdullah.

In collaboration with Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), this organisation is raising funds to support mental health services and caregivers while providing Mental Health First Aid training. It is also leading an initiative to roll out ‘A Conversation on Suicide’, a two-hour training module to create suicide prevention awareness and offer interim help to those who need it the most.
