Nikki Tang, the founder and CEO of DMark Beauty and DermAsia, has dedicated herself to uplifting the beauty and aesthetics industry of the Philippines
There are perhaps few women as passionate about or dedicated to the aesthetics industry than DMark Beauty and DermAsia CEO and founder Nikki Tang. For over 20 years, she has been at the forefront, building trust, developing people and giving Filipinos the means to be the best version of themselves.
“Leading DMark Beauty represents the foundation of my journey as an entrepreneur,” she shares. “Building the company required resilience, faith and the willingness to move forward even without certainty.” While this side tested her business acumen, DermAsia challenged her ability to adapt. She no longer solely focused on products, but the industry behind it—the science, innovation and medical community. “[It] represented a shift from building a company to nurturing a broader ecosystem in aesthetics,” she elaborates.

At this leg of her journey, her perspectives have shifted further. When she first started, it meant expanding and taking advantage of every opportunity that presented itself. This, however, is difficult, especially when everything seems to change at a moment’s notice. While speed was demanded of her, Tang made sure she remained steady throughout. “Sustainability requires intention,” she affirms. “It means choosing long-term partnerships over short-term wins, investing in people as much as products and ensuring growth is supported by strong systems and purpose.” This much is evident in several of her company’s initiatives, including Beauty for a Cause, a group that supports cancer awareness and wellness foundations; and Beauty and Beyond, which gathers the country’s top doctors and dermatologists to exchange their knowledge and expertise.

These lessons aren’t exclusively effective within a business context, but also in her personal life. Tang is often jumping from one meeting to another. Without any downtime, burnout is a very real and frightening consequence. “I see well-being as not a luxury, but as a discipline,” she explains. “Where health once felt secondary to responsibility, it now feels foundational. Self-preservation is not hesitation, but wisdom—the recognition that caring for oneself allows leadership to endure.”
For Tang, DMark Beauty, DermAsia and legacy are deeply intertwined. They are businesses, yes, but also a testament to her desire to uplift and improve the lives of both her clients and her people. “Leadership is not only about what we build,” she remarks. “It’s about what continues to grow long after us.”
“Ten years from now, I hope to see more women building organisations that endure”, she adds, “mentoring others generously and shaping industries with both courage and compassion.” Those who look to Tang as an example can clearly see a passion for mentorship, well-being and of course, beauty, that is far from skin-deep.
