Introducing the Tatler Impact Awards

These awards recognise Asia’s most influential and impactful leaders at the Tatler Ball

Each year, the Tatler Ball celebrates individuals making outstanding contributions in their fields of expertise and this year, we take a new direction with the Impact Awards.

Set to be awarded to four individuals at this year’s Tatler Ball, the Impact Awards will recognise inspiring individuals from the annual Asia’s Most Influential (AMI) list. The individuals chosen have been using their influence to drive positive and significant impact both in Asia and beyond—this could be in the form of discovery, research or a new project. Honourees will be celebrated across four key categories: Innovation, Business, Culture and Humanity.

The Innovation Award honours an individual who has made significant technological advancements or achieved breakthroughs in the field of science of medical research. The Business Award recognises exceptional business success, open to individuals across any industry from retail and eCommerce to finance and manufacturing. The Culture Award highlights those who have made a lasting impact in lifestyle, entertainment or the arts. Finally, the Humanity Award celebrates individuals from any sector focusing on sustainability, including education, public service and social entrepreneurship.

Honourees will be selected based on four key metrics: impact, relevance, longevity and leadership. the impact criterion examines the scope of the honouree’s influence while relevance is assessed based on recent, widely reported news from multiple sources. Longevity rewards those whose careers have stood the test of time and leadership reflects how well the honouree aligns with the AMI vision.
