These three Gen.T leaders prove that with a bold idea and a generous heart, even the toughest challenges can be transformed into opportunities to connect, inspire and grow together.
The Gen.T generation of leaders is made up of prominent individuals working across a wide spectrum from technology, business and finance to culture, education, cuisine and sport. Each of them brings a distinctive story shaped by forward-thinking, pioneering vision and a deep-rooted desire to create meaningful value. Their presence in Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2025 is not only a celebration of personal achievement, but a strong affirmation of the potential and standing of Vietnam’s young leadership on the Asian stage.
Gen.T leaders driving sustainable community initiatives
In any era and under any social framework, difficulties are inevitable, from economic instability to environmental and cultural concerns. But it is not the scale of these problems that defines us, rather the way we respond to them. Rather than accepting the status quo, Gen.T leaders are choosing to meet challenges head-on with clarity, deep insight into root causes, and a long-term vision for impact. More than simply providing answers, the community initiatives led by the three Gen.T leaders below are nurturing spaces where every individual has the chance to be heard, uplifted and to contribute meaningfully. These efforts are forging strong social bonds and laying the groundwork for a future built on sustainability and inclusivity.

Above Le Thi Thu Huong – Head of Community Development, Beat Vietnam
Le Thi Thu Huong has launched and led numerous media initiatives focused on contemporary life, cultural shifts and social issues in Vietnam. She is the driving force behind a number of influential platforms such as Inside the Box, Hanoi Stories and Saigon Nghenn, which collectively reach over 5.5 million followers. Her work has helped raise awareness around gender-based violence, the long-term consequences of war, and wildlife preservation. She also founded New Career, a project designed to spotlight and honour lesser-known professions in Vietnam.

Above Duong Thi Thao – Founder and Architect of Rainbow Playground Project
Through the Rainbow Playground Project, Duong Thi Thao is fostering holistic child development by creating safe, imaginative spaces for play. The initiative has built 11 community playgrounds, installed 61 play structures, painted large-scale murals and hosted workshops that have reached over 3,000 schoolchildren. The team was also awarded the 2023 Outstanding Social Justice Initiative by the International Branch of the American Planning Association.

Above Hoang Hoa Trung – Founder of Nuoi Em
Since 2014, Hoang Hoa Trung has expanded his Nuoi Em model from providing school lunches for 50 students to more than 93,000 across Vietnam, Cambodia and Kenya. His team has also tackled infrastructure challenges in remote areas through the 2,000 VND Power initiative, resulting in the construction of over 750 facilities including schools, homes, bridges and dormitories, as well as the creation of 203 computer labs equipped with more than 2,300 devices across Vietnam.
At a time when Vietnam and the wider region is experiencing dynamic transformation, these Gen.T leaders stand as powerful examples of courage, innovation and resilience. By pushing beyond boundaries, they are helping to write a brighter, more sustainable chapter for both Vietnam and Asia.
This marks the first year Tatler Vietnam officially joins the Gen.T Asia community. We look forward to continuing this meaningful journey alongside a generation of passionate changemakers, amplifying stories of inspiration and driving remarkable progress across every field in the years ahead.
