The joint CEO of milk-product giant Kowloon Dairy, Charmaine Li stepped up to the role in 2019, after joining the company as an executive director in 2012. Owned by her family, the firm was co-founded in 1940 by her grandfather Li Lan Sang.

Li is also the managing director and producer for her own film-production company, Tiberius Productions, which has released films across a wide variety of genres and subjects—including cookery, sports, nature, travel and human-interest documentaries—for broadcasters including the BBC, National Geographic and Cartoon Network. The company has also made commercials and events for a range of luxury clients including Versace, Bulgari and Van Cleef & Arpels.

Before forming the company, Li was a communications director for luxury brands such as Prada, Burberry, Cartier and Asprey & Garrard (now Asprey). The daughter of Tisa and the late Cornel Li, she is also a noted horse-racing enthusiast.
