The Aivee Clinic becomes the first recipient of Galderma’s Pink Diamond Award, recognising its leadership in Sculptra and Restylane Skinboosters alongside back-to-back breakthrough wins

The Aivee Clinic made a particular kind of history at this year’s Galderma Diamond Awards: it became the first-ever recipient of the Pink Diamond Award, a distinction that was created specifically to recognise the clinic’s position as the No. 1 clinic in the Philippines for Galderma’s Sculptra and Restylane Skinboosters portfolio. The clinic also brought home the Sculptra Breakthrough Award and the Restylane Breakthrough Award—the latter two, notably, for the second consecutive year.

The Galderma Diamond Awards framework evaluates clinical excellence, innovation and the meaningful integration of its aesthetic technologies into patient care. To receive a new category created in your name is a different order of recognition—it signals that the existing framework had no adequate way to account for what a clinic had already achieved.

Above Seventeen years in, Dr Aivee Teo and Dr Z Teo accepted an award that had never been given to anyone before, a category created in the clinic's name

Dr Aivee Teo, president and medical director, contextualised the win within the clinic’s longer story. “This award recognises the hard work for the past 17 years,” she said at the celebratory press conference. “It is also a testament to our commitment to really bringing science-backed treatments like Sculptra and Restylane to our patients and delivering good results.”

The practice behind the award

The Aivee Clinic was founded by Dr Aivee Teo and Dr Z’Shen Teo, whose combined practice has become one of the more recognisable names in Philippine aesthetic medicine. Their approach is built on a framework that Dr Z laid out plainly at the press conference: good products, strong anatomical knowledge and the clinical experience to deploy both correctly.

He is notably unsparing about what happens when that framework breaks down. “That would be a combination of bad products and inexperienced injectors, when they put things in the wrong plane of the face, cause all those abnormalities,” he said. “It’s something that we don't subscribe to. We believe in very natural restoration of the face, using great products like Sculptra as a biostimulator for your own collagen, and then we refine the face and the features using Restylane. That’s how you end with a very natural, beautiful face.”

Louie Roxas, general manager of Galderma Philippines, described the partnership in terms of shared clinical values. “The Aivee Clinic represents the gold standard in aesthetic medicine, where science, skill and vision come together seamlessly. Their leadership in treatments like Sculptra and Restylane reflects not only clinical excellence, but a deep understanding of how innovation can transform patient outcomes,” he said.

What the treatments do

The Pink Diamond Award is, in no small part, a recognition of how The Aivee Clinic has championed two specific Galderma treatments. Sculptra is a regenerative biostimulator that gradually triggers the body’s own collagen and elastin production via poly-L-lactic acid. Unlike treatments that provide immediate correction, it works over a longer arc—improving firmness and skin structure in a way that continues to develop weeks after the initial treatment.

Restylane Skinboosters is a stabilised hyaluronic acid injectable designed to improve overall skin quality—addressing hydration, texture and tone from within the dermis. Together, the two treatments reflect a direction that the clinic has long advocated for: results that are biologically developed rather than simply applied.

What comes next

The clinic recently opened a location in Parqal, near Ninoy Aquino International Airport, a deliberate positioning, Dr Aivee explained, aimed at making the clinic accessible to both local patients and international medical professionals who want to observe Philippine aesthetic practice at close range. She has spoken about a longer-term ambition: for Philippine beauty— PBeauty, in her framing—to sit alongside Korean and Western aesthetics as a global reference point.

At the press conference, someone asked the Teos what colour diamond they were hoping for next year. Dr Z’s answer was characteristic: “It doesn’t matter what colour, as long as our patients come out looking like diamonds.”
