For one night only, the bathrooms on the third floor of the prestigious St Regis Kuala Lumpur were decked out in floral hues and irresistible scents exclusively for Tatler Ball
It’s been said that the most popular photo area each year at Tatler Ball (Winding staircases and grand ballrooms aside) is, interestingly enough, the powder room. This year, it wasn’t just any powder room but the one at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur. Furnished with chandeliers, mirrors reaching up to the ceiling, plush seats and incredibly flattering lighting, the bathrooms on the same floor as the grand ballroom of the St Regis Kuala Lumpur had a particularly Instagram-worthy facelift, exclusively for Tatler Ball 2023.

In partnership with luxury brands Rituals and Armani Beauty, both the ladies’ and gents’ bathrooms were adorned with sakura-inspired decor, along with scent sticks, luxury diffusers and scented candles by Rituals on the night of Tatler Ball.

Glamorous ladies like Datin Carla Soong, Carmey Chua and Roshan Valiram were spotted taking a quick selfie or two after checking their makeup and touching up lipstick for the night at Armani Beauty’s dedicated makeup counter. Over at the men’s room, debonair gents Rizman Nordin, Alex Cheah, Raymond Tham and others gathered around for a photo opportunity too.

Guests were also able to enjoy a curated selection of luxury hand lotions and hand wash by Rituals, which were placed at each sink. At the focal point of the bathrooms was a table with a floral centrepiece, made especially fragrant with the addition of scent sticks, diffusers and candles by Rituals.
At the end of the night, guests were even able to take a delightful powder room memento back home with them thanks to gift bags from Armani Beauty, which contained a fragrance and a lipstick for the ladies, as well as a Rituals gift bag packed with a body scrub and a luxury scented candle.
