Founder and CEO of Saint Bella, Danny Xiang, shares more on elevating the postpartum journey
Recovering from giving birth is a long journey—one of recovery and adjustment to parenthood. Fortunately for new mothers, Hangzhou-based maternity care company Saint Bella has reached our shores, transforming the postpartum experience into one of comfort, rejuvenation and luxury.
Taking time to recuperate from childbirth is a culturally-rooted practice, particularly in many Asian countries. The concept of confinement differs in various cultures, where new mothers are confined at home for a period of time, allowing them to rest, eat and bond with their new baby.
With Saint Bella’s launch of Bella Villa at the elegant Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island, a luxury resort-style maternity and baby care service, new mothers can now rest and recover in the comfort of one of its luxurious suites.

It took us five years to become the number one brand in Asia and now we think is the time to extend our presence.” He adds that over the years, Singapore has grown to become a global travel hub with a worldwide reputation for excellent healthcare.
