Indulge in unparalleled luxury above the clouds at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, where every moment is elevated by world-class service and breathtaking skyline views

Thirty minutes: that’s all it takes to get from Hong Kong International Airport to the 103rd floor lobby of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, where the city stretches out beneath you like something from a film.

The hotel occupies floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre on the West Kowloon waterfront, making it one of the highest hotels in the world. It’s well connected to Central, the views are uninterrupted and the accolades speak for themselves: a Michelin Key Hotel in 2025, a spot in Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 10 Best Hotels in Hong Kong by readers’ choice and a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating.

The Club Level

The 312 rooms here start at 50 sq m—generous by Hong Kong standards—and almost all face the harbour. But the real draw is the Club Level, with its lounge on the 116th floor.

Think of it as a private living room with spectacular views. There are five food presentations throughout the day (including an afternoon tea), a dedicated concierge team and the kind of quiet efficiency that lets you get work done or simply decompress. It sounds too good to be true until you’re actually up there, nursing a coffee while the Star Ferry traces lines across the harbour below.

The Spa

The spa leans fully into its altitude—the design concept is inspired by the notion of being in the clouds. There are nine treatment rooms, two couple suites, and the requisite steam rooms and saunas. The 28-metre indoor pool, with its mirrored ceiling, is the sort of space that photographs extremely well and is also genuinely pleasant to swim in.

What sets the spa apart is intention. Every element—from the treatments to the ambient music—is meticulously curated. The therapists are not just skilled technicians but also intuitive healers who personalise the treatments.

The Restaurants

On the 102nd floor, two Michelin-starred restaurants share harbour and sea views but take entirely different approaches to culinary fare.

Tin Lung Heen in The Ritz-Carlton is the elevated Cantonese gourmet destination, boasting accolades such as two Michelin stars and a Forbes Five-Star rating. The design is a blend of contemporary chic and with traditional Chinese elements, while the menu runs through refined regional classics.

Meanwhile, Tosca di Angelò offers refined Italian fare, with chef Angelo Agliano at the helm. The one-Michelin-starred restaurant serves up elegant Mediterranean-inspired dishes with premium seasonal ingredients sourced from Italy, cooked with precision.

Looking To The Future

The hotel is moving towards responsible luxury: no single-use plastics and more sustainable sourcing, as well as new cultural programmes and local excursions. These inspiring goals aside, the fundamentals remain: you’re 100 floors up, the service is impeccable and the food is genuinely good. Sometimes that’s enough.
