Marriott Hotels’ makes its debut in Penang with the stunning Penang Marriott Complex, located along the prime seafront of Gurney Drive. Offering 223 luxurious rooms, the hotel boasts breathtaking views of George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Andaman Sea.

Designed by Silver Fox Studios, Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur is the first of the Hyatt Centric brand in Peninsula Malaysia and the second in the country owned by Hap Seng Consolidated Bhd after Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu. The 21-storey luxury hotel will feature 312 rooms, taking inspiration from Kuala Lumpur’s evolution from a tin mining town to a thriving metropolis, featuring the art of local graffiti artist, Jefr alongside earth tones and bold lines that are sure to enhance the glistening KLCC skyline.

On April 2024, Perhentian Marriott  Resort & Spa opened its doors on the island of Terengganu’s Perhentian Kecil on the east coast. Opened in June 2024, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Trion is the latest addition to Accor’s locally inspired Mercure brand. Offering a vibrant blend of modernity and Malaysian culture, the hotel is located within the Trion complex. It provides easy access to major shopping destinations, the Chan Sow Lin LRT station, and key road networks.

Featuring 228 stylish rooms, the hotel showcases traditional Wau Bulan motifs and batik patterns, capturing Malaysia’s rich artistic heritage. Adorned at almost every corner with planter boxes and bursts of greenery, Lloyd’s Inn Kuala Lumpur boasts 15 stories and 110 rooms. Designed by Farm Architecture, the hotel merges raw minimalism with modern-day luxuries, incorporating touches of retro swings, naturally ventilated corridors and concrete pillars against wide open spaces filled with natural light.
