Taking over management of the property formerly known as The Sirēya, the Group celebrated the transition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony using a floral garland of local flora, symbolising a new chapter of transformation and renewal.
Spread across a sprawling 128-acre estate, the resort is anchored by 300-year-old banyan trees and opens directly onto a 1.5 km stretch of unspoilt beach. Despite its feel of deep seclusion, the property remains remarkably accessible, positioned within easy reach of major international airports and key cities in both Malaysia and Singapore.

The signature restaurant, Ambara, focuses on the region's abundant ingredients, while Dusky Monkey offers a refined space for Straits-inspired bites and handcrafted cocktails. Meanwhile, Ember Beach Club continues to serve Asian-style barbeque, with a completely new beach club concept slated to debut in late 2026.
The transformation is far from finished, as the Group will introduce considered updates to the lobby, suites, and arrival areas. Perhaps most significantly, the resort will eventually introduce the region’s first Mandarin Oriental Residences, offering a limited collection of luxury branded homes for those looking to turn this hidden sanctuary into a permanent address.
