While we’re still unable to travel due to the pandemic in Hong Kong, many of us are choosing to vacation at home and book in for a staycation. Hong Kong has countless luxury offerings, but when it comes to planning a night away with your furry friend in tow, we’re letting you know the best places to book.

1. Rosewood Hong Kong

Opened in early 2019, Rosewood Hong Kong offers one of the most luxurious hotel experiences in the city. And the same quality experience is available for your four-legged friends too, with the hotel’s pampered pets offering.

Both cats and dogs are welcome free of charge (maximum two per room), with pets receiving their own plush beds, welcome treats and even a specially designed food menu by Director of Culinary Operations, chef Sandro Gamba. Pets are not allowed in the hotel’s restaurant outlets, spa, pool or fitness facilities, but you can still enjoy five-star relaxation––not to mention stunning harbour views––in the comfort of your room.

Add-on perks such as grooming, pet walking, daycare services and dog training are also available, along with the chance to organise a full photoshoot for you and your furry friend.

2. The Murray, Hong Kong

The Murray Hong Kong not only welcomes dogs into its hotel rooms, but it also allows owners and their furry friends to dine al fresco. Their Pawsome Staycation includes complimentary breakfast and HK$900 worth of dining credits. The Murray is one of the only Hong Kong hotels which allows dogs to dine with you at its al fresco restaurants.

3. The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

At present, only two dogs (less than 25 kg) per room are allowed. Inside your hotel room, the Pawfect Wardrobe which consists of pet costumes is available for use for two hours per dog during your stay. You also get to enjoy a 10 per cent discount on other food and beverage items.
