Adorable and deeply adored, the cat ambassadors of Oetker Collection's hotels are living their best (nine) lives

This is it. I've figured it out. This is how good people come back reincarnated in the next life—as the pampered and adored cat ambassadors of some of Europe's most luxurious hotels.

Oetker Collection, a German hotel management company, has made its resident felines something of a signature in its five-star hotels in Germany, the UK and France. Meet Oetker Collection's cat ambassadors below, including its most recent addition, a four-month-old Birman kitten.

For the last 11 years, Le Bristol Paris has been home to its local celebrity resident, Fa-Raon, a male Birman cat. 2021 has been a big year for Fa-Raon, who in June welcomed an adorable son, Socrate. This month, it was announced that Fa-Raon will retire from his role as the pet-friendly Paris hotel's beloved ambassador, with Socrate taking the reins as his successor.

Located on chic Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Le Bristol Paris is a storied hotel that dates back to 1925. In its lifetime, it has served as a home away from home for celebrities including Rita Hayworth and Charlie Chaplin, as well as the world's fashion set including top fashion designers and photographers.

A palace of understated elegance, Le Bristol Paris' airy interiors and sleek marble bathrooms are met with luxurious touches including Louis XV- and Louis XVI-era furnishings, Persian carpets, antique mirrors, and designer fabrics, many in the hotel's signature pink and green hues.

Lilibet, a gorgeous Siberian Forest Cat, arrived at The Lanesborough in London in June 2019 and has made it her very own personal palace since.

Housed in a building on Hyde Park Corner that dates back to the 1820s and designed by Willian Wilkins, who designed London's National Gallery, the Lanesborough is a London grande dame—a display of unapologetic opulence in the form of regency revival decor. Bold, flowing textiles and patterns adorn, and there are 54 chandeliers throughout the hotel, with the largest weighing 200kg.

The Lanesborough offers round-the-clock, dedicated butler service for each of its 93 rooms and suites. With a dedication to impeccable service at its core, we can guarantee that Lilibet is definitely living the high life, too.

Kléopatre, a white Burmese cat, is a permanent guest at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden Baden, Germany. She enjoys simple pleasures like curling up by the open fireplace, the fresh Baden-Baden air and the soothing sounds of the River Oos, which runs through the hotel's private parkland.

Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa has been a place of relaxation for the elite since 1872—previous guests have included French President Charles de Gaulle, Barack Obama and George Clooney.

The upmarket resort's adjoining 5000 square-metre spa Villa Stéphanie Spa & Wellbeing, is one of the best in the world.
