Macau gets a new cultural and entertainment landmark
As the world of luxury tourism evolves, so does the diversity of hospitality, from boutique concepts to integrated cultural and entertainment resorts—and the phase three opening by Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group is a first-class example of the latter.
The venue, comprising the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC), Galaxy Arena, Andaz Macau and Raffles at Galaxy Macau, presents the city with an unparalleled array of offerings and some of the world’s largest integrated resorts. All features have been carefully curated to bring Macau’s tourists a one-stop leisure and entertainment experience, alongside its “world-class, Asian heart” service philosophy.
Visitors have two choices of hotel: Andaz Macau and Raffles at Galaxy Macau. With over 700 rooms and suites, the former is the largest Andaz hotel in the world and perfectly reflects Portuguese and Macanese cultural heritage through its art and contemporary interiors. Traditions continue into the heart of the hotel, with neighbourhood cuisine and local flavours at Andaz Kitchen. Executive chef André Lai brings his family’s inherited recipes to the plate, with signature dishes like home-cured hamachi and Portuguese seafood rice. At the bar, Shobit Shetty brings experience from some of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, reflecting the multicultural city through his cocktail creations.

Renowned for its timeless elegance and legendary hospitality, Raffles at Galaxy Macau begins each guest’s luxury journey before they even set foot inside. Its 450 suites come complete with butler service, the iconic Raffles Afternoon Tea and éclair trolley, a 40-metre-long infinity pool decked out with cabanas, and much more.
