The first-ever Angsana property is now in Penang and welcomes all to join in on their festivities

Having reached our shores in October 2020, the first Angsana property—managed by Banyan Tree Group—welcomes guests to celebrate the year-end festivities in Teluk Bahang, Penang.

Angsana Teluk Bahang is an upper upscale, vibrant beach resort about an hour’s drive from Penang International Airport or around half an hour from George Town Unesco World Heritage Site. To add to the allure of its location, there are many tourist attractions easily accessible from the resort, such as the Penang National Park, Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm, and Penang Tropical Spice Garden, to name but a few.

The resort houses a total of 231 contemporary rooms and suites, designed by Omar Khan, featuring exquisite Peranakan-themed details. Guests will also be spoiled for options, with rooms ranging from a luxurious a luxurious two-bedroom Seaview Suite with a large outdoor patio, and a jet tub overlooking the stunning sea! Ocean lovers would also be glad to note that all rooms and suites within the resort offer amazing panoramic views of the Andaman Sea.

The resort’s all-day dining restaurant, Jendela, offers a festive buffet dinner every Friday and Saturday of this month, as well as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets. If that is too much for you, you can also opt for a 6-course dinner or 4-course brunch, respectively, on the Eve or Christmas Day itself, from No. 11—the resort’s speciality restaurant that also serves an array of sumptuous fine-dining dinner menu courses, grilled cuisine, serving succulent cuts of meat.

One can also ring in the New Year with loved ones and friends at Angsana Teluk Bahang with a New Year’s Eve beach party at Fire & Ice, which will feature a DJ, or if you’d prefer a live band performance, you can head over to Jamboree instead. Meanwhile, both Jendela and No. 11 will have similar food promotions as they did for Christmas.
