Sun, sand, sea, and soirees await at Angsana Laguna Phuket’s new Xana beach club
If you’re in for a quick getaway and a party on the side, here’s a new beach-side spot to check out – Angsana Laguna Phuket has partnered up with Singapore-based nightlife operator, Attica Group, to launch Xana, an all-day beach club concept. Officially opening on June 30, 2012, Xana offers a seamless day-to-night beach club experience, with lunch service beginning at 11am (the club has upcoming plans to launch brunch service on Sundays).

Curb hunger pangs with the Mediterranean-meets-Thai cuisine, where Italian executive chef Mirko Cappa serves up dishes like tuna carpaccio with fennel salsa, orange, and pomegranate; Thai golden prawns in crispy noodle with mango sambal; and spaghetti scoglio in cartoccio.
Boasting an extensive wine list and all-day bottle service with complimentary mixers, it’s easy to while hours away while enjoying views of Bang Tao Bay from a cabana or on a lounger under the shade of trees.
Some of the specialty house cocktails include Xanajito (Ten Cane rum, muddled lime and mint leaves, local mangosteen, and maoberry juice) and the Siam Sunray (Ketel One vodka, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, ginger, Thai chilli, Malibu, lime, and soda).
As night falls, expect to be kept up on your feet dancing by Xana’s resident DJ and music director, Frank Richards, who spins an eclectic and uplifting mix of downtempo, lounge, house, and deep house, tempered with a touch of funk, soul, and disco.
