Aman continues to grow its portfolio of urban properties, this time making its debut in South Korea with Aman Seoul
Seoul has rapidly turned into a global powerhouse for fashion, tech, design and beauty, but if we’re being honest, its high-end hotel offerings have never been on par with those in cities like Tokyo or Hong Kong. But it looks like that’s about to change with the opening of Aman Seoul, Aman's first property in South Korea.
They haven’t teased an opening date yet, but what we do know is that it will be in the heart of Cheongdam, Gangnam with views of the Han River. And like Aman’s other city hotels like Aman New York and Aman Nai Lert in Bangkok, Aman Seoul will also house branded residences and an exclusive Aman Club.

The hotel and residences will have generous suites built using traditional South Korean spatial concepts and materials, with the residences kitted out in custom furnishings by Aman Interiors. Wellness is a huge focal point here, highlighted by a dedicated spa and recovery facility spanning multiple floors to support both physical and mental health. Meanwhile, members and residents get access to the private club, which packs its own dedicated pool, fitness spaces and social lounges. To keep things discreet, each section of the property gets its own private entrance and arrival sequence.
The project comes via a strategic partnership between Shinsegae Group and Aman Group chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin’s real estate development firm, OKO Group.
