The first Malaysian golfer to triumph in WAAP Championship earns a spot in three major professional tournaments this year

The seventh Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP) Championship wrapped up in Hoi An, Vietnam this weekend, with golfer Jeneath Wong making history as champion. A third year student at Pepperdine University in California, the 20-year-old titleholder is the first Malaysian to ever claim this prestigious title, marking a significant achievement in her career.
