Cover Tatler Adrenaline returned again in November for another round of sports and fun

Energy, elegance, and athleticism took centre stage at the second round of Tatler Adrenaline, a vibrant celebration of community and competition

On November 17, Tatler Malaysia hosted the highly anticipated second edition of Tatler Adrenaline, transforming the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) and The Courts at KLGCC Resort into vibrant arenas of athleticism, camaraderie, and energy.

The event, held in collaboration with KLGCC, Sime Darby Property, Alo Yoga, and Shiseido Professional, delivered an exciting fusion of competition, fitness, and lifestyle experiences, leaving participants with unforgettable memories.

The action-packed day commenced at 7am with Cyclist Wardrobe leading a scenic 28km social ride. Cyclists of all levels pedalled through Kuala Lumpur’s picturesque routes, passing landmarks like Universiti Malaya, APW, and Bangsar, before returning to KLGCC. The exhilarating ride was a testament to the growing cycling culture and a perfect start to the day’s festivities.

Sime Darby Property treated participants to sumptuous spreads at KLGCC’s Piano Lounge, ensuring everyone stayed fueled. The day began with a delightful breakfast buffet featuring mini nasi lemak, brioche sandwiches, and almond honey overnight oats. A delectable French-style lunch followed, complete with a live risotto station, and concluded with a refreshing hi-tea spread of crystal prawns with lemon aioli and gourmet sandwiches. Beverage partners The Tapping Tapir, Spritzer, and Bombay Sapphire kept everyone refreshed throughout the day.

Over at The Courts, Shiseido Professional featured a booth showcasing its innovative products such as sunscreen for hair and more. The booth also featured a fun ping pong game booth where winners stood a chance to win free Shiseido Professional products.

Adding to the excitement of the day, Club Med hosted a special giveaway, offering participants the chance to win an exclusive five-day, four-night stay at Club Med Phuket. Bang & Olufsen also had a booth in the Piano Lounge where participants could experience its luxurious and high end headphones as well as speakers in person. For those looking for a quick refreshing recovery session, the boys of My Recovery Lab were present to provide participants with a dip in their 3-Layered filtered Ice Baths.

At the Pickle Social Club and Padelground, the padel and pickleball tournaments brought an electric energy to the courts. To ensure participants travelled in comfort and style, Volvo Malaysia provided stunning Volvo XC60s and XC90s to ferry players between KLGCC and the tournament venues.

The padel competitions included mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles categories, with players fiercely competing for coveted prizes from Alo Yoga, Swisse Wellness, and Alle.

Meanwhile, pickleball, a fast-growing sport that blends elements of badminton, tennis, and ping pong, featured mixed doubles and men’s doubles categories. Participants displayed remarkable agility, coordination, and teamwork, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. Victorious players were rewarded with exclusive prizes from Swisse Wellness, Alle, and Bang & Olufsen.

Over at the newly refurbished tennis courts, the games were no less competitive. Matches in mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles categories ran from morning until afternoon, with players showing their prowess and resilience. The courts provided an ideal setting for tennis enthusiasts, and the friendly yet competitive atmosphere was a highlight of the day.

Between points and sets, laughter and encouragement could be heard, reflecting the deep sense of camaraderie within the Tatler Adrenaline community. The winners earned fantastic prizes from Swisse Wellness and Alle, adding to the excitement.

The swimming events, a new addition to Tatler Adrenaline, were a splash hit with participants. The competition included mixed freestyle relay, as well as freestyle and breaststroke races for men and women. Swimmers brought their A-game, with each stroke displaying not only athletic skill but also a commitment to pushing boundaries.

Cheers from fellow participants and supporters echoed around the pool, creating an exhilarating environment. The winners celebrated their hard-earned victories with prizes from Swisse Wellness and Alle, rounding off a successful debut for this aquatic segment.

Over 40 golfers enjoyed a scenic 18-hole game on KLGCC’s East Course. Despite the game being cut short by inclement weather, players revelled in the camaraderie and breathtaking surroundings before regrouping for the afternoon’s activities.

As the weather cleared, the much-anticipated Fun Run kicked off, led by Atlas Collectif. Runners participated in 5km and 10km sessions across KLGCC’s lush golf course, combining fitness and community spirit in a perfect finale to the day.
