Cover The inaugural Tatler Adrenaline 2024 happened on July 14 at KLGCC

Tatler Malaysia’s inaugural sports festival Tatler Adrenaline brought together cycling, golf, padel, pickleball, and running at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, creating an unforgettable day of fun and excitement

On July 14, Tatler Malaysia held its inaugural sports festival, Tatler Adrenaline, at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club and The Courts at KLGCC Resort, turning them into a playground of energy, camaraderie, and athletic prowess.

In collaboration with Sime Darby Property, Volvo Car Malaysia, and BP Healthcare, the event was a thrilling blend of competition and fun, leaving everyone with memories of a day well spent.

The festival kicked off at 7am with Cyclist Wardrobe leading a 30km social ride through KL’s most iconic spots—Seputeh, Brickfields, Bangsar, and Bukit Damansara. Cyclists of all levels relished the scenic route, making it a ride to remember.

Meanwhile, BP Healthcare’s booth buzzed with activity, offering free health checks, including hearing, bone density, BMI, and BCA tests. Refreshments from Spritzer, The Boom Beverage, and Uncle Jeff Kombucha ensured everyone stayed hydrated and energised, while Noa KL provided delectable dishes for the day’s guests.

As the morning progressed, the padel and pickleball tournaments began at 8am. Competitors battled it out in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles for padel, and in men’s doubles and mixed doubles categories for pickleball. The courts at Pickle Social Club and Padelground were alive with action, with Tatler friends and community members competing for fantastic prizes such as Nox ML10 Pro Cup and Head Gravity Elite paddles for the padel tournament winners while pickleball winners walked away with Wowlly Excel Paddles and PickleballApes Pro Line energy paddles.

In the afternoon, golfers enjoyed a scenic 9-hole game on the East Course, with Volvo XC60s and XC90s providing a stylish ride between KLGCC and Pickle Social Club. The social game was complemented by stunning views, light bites provided by KLGCC executive chef Danny Lau Chee Hoo, and plenty of opportunities to network and relax under the sun.

The day wrapped up with an exhilarating 5km fun run on the picturesque East course of KLGCC, organised by Atlas Collectif. Runners navigated the course’s winding paths and hilly terrain, making for an exciting finish to a day filled with sport, laughter, and unforgettable moments. To top it all off, a participant won a fabulous 5-day 4-night stay at Club Med Kani in the Maldives through a lucky draw, adding an extra layer of excitement and joy to the event.
