As one of the most beautiful shows on the international equestrian calendar, the 90th CSIO Roma Piazza di Siena will be staged in the opulent Villa Borghese gardens in the Italian capital from May 25-28, 2023. With four days of intense competition from the best horse and rider combinations to grace the circuit, it’s sure to put on a show that’ll amaze and astonish.

Competitors and visitors globally have their eyes on 5* Rolex Gran Premio Roma, which concludes the event. The Gran Premio Roma has been won by some of the best jumping horse and rider combinations, like Rodrigo Pessoa in 2009 and Eric Lamaze in 2011 and 2014.

The Piazza di Siena has a rich history, with roots dating back over 100 years. Their commitment to continuous improvement is reflected in their efforts. In 2018 the 18th-century oval was re-grassed, returning it to its original splendour. The timepiece brand, Rolex, was also made the official timekeeper of the show, bringing a sense of modernisation to the sport while respecting tradition.

This year, several Rolex Testimonees will travel to Rome with the hopes of making history at the CSIO Roma Piazza di Siena. Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs is looking forward to mirroring the performance of his uncle Markus Fuchs during his victory at the Grand Prix in 2001. Though audiences will be greeted by fierce competition, Great Britain’s Scott Brash will be there as well. Brash is the only rider to have won the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping and former World No 1 Daniel Deusser from Germany.
