Just like that, we are a month away from ending the year with Ball season fast upon us. As such, Tatler Malaysia’s 50 Shades of Fun party marks an electrifying start to ball season in Kuala Lumpur.
Set for the evening before the prestigious Tatler Ball in Malaysia, this exclusive event welcomes 280 invited guests to the chic Astor Room at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. While distinctively more relaxed and playful than its black-tie counterpart, 50 Shades of Fun retains every ounce of glamour, inviting guests to embrace an exhilarating and vibrant atmosphere.

The night’s entertainment will be led by Malaysia’s finest young artists, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Clinton Jerome Chua, songbird and vocal coach Elvira Arul, Vietnamese electronic artist, producer and DJ Pharreal Phuong, and one of Kuala Lumpur’s most influential house and techno DJs Victor Goh, ensuring a dynamic and upbeat tone for the event.
Adding to the glamour, Chua, Arul, Phuong and Goh will be dressed in exquisite Chopard jewellery, setting an unmistakably luxurious scene. Other stylish individuals such as Bella Kuan and Josh Kua will also be fronting luxurious Chopard pieces.

For this party, Tatler is also joining forces with YSL Beauty and August Store to elevate the evening’s experience. Each guest will receive exclusive YSL Beauty door gifts—fragrance for men and makeup for women—while YSL Beauty’s glam-chic aesthetic will extend to a bathroom takeover of the iconic St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, adding a layer of sophisticated indulgence.
Additionally, five stylish guests, Datuk Nicol David, Marianna de Reyes, Thanuja Ananthan, Jodie Akinchi, Deedee Nash, Lycia Calvet and Julia van der Drift will be dressed by August Store for the occasion.
