Every September, Dr Aivee Aguilar Teo looks forward to two birthdays—her own and her eponymous brainchild, The Aivee Group. This year, she chose to celebrate both in The Back Room at Shangri-La The Fort. Surrounded by her loved ones, the board-certified dermatologist reflected on her success, growth and beautiful relationships built throughout the years.
“I love the place! It’s the perfect ambience for an intimate yet elegant gathering,” she tells Tatler. “The concept was to bring together people who have been part of our journey— patients, collaborators, family and friends who have supported the clinic.”
Planning such an event is no small feat, but Teo credits her dedicated team for turning her vision into reality. “We wanted to reflect on our success, growth and the beautiful relationships we’ve built,” she says.

With the help of her husband, Dr Z, and the Aivee PR and Marketing team, the evening took on an intimate yet elegant atmosphere.
Donning a pink satin dress from Prada, Teo prepared a set of activities for her celebration. Inside the venue, guests could pose at Aivee photo walls for quick Instagram uploads. Those who love music enjoyed R&B tracks mixed by DJ Nix DamnP and performances by Moira Dela Torre, Denise Laurel, Bela Padilla and Mark Bautista.
One hundred forty guests composed of friends and celebrities near and dear to Teo’s heart made the event more memorable. “One of the most heartwarming aspects of the night was seeing longtime friends and patients reconnect with each other and the Aivee team,” she says.

Some familiar faces included Nadine Lustre, Kathryn Bernardo, Sofia Andres, Joshua Garcia, Heart Evangelista, Senator Chiz Escudero and Las Piñas Vice Mayor April Aguilar. “There were also meaningful conversations around new partnerships, upcoming trends in beauty and wellness, and the evolution of aesthetic treatments,” she says.
“I remember particularly engaging talks about how the clinic can continue innovating and evolving, with some exciting ideas and collaborators potentially in the works. We had a lot of surprises in store for everyone.” This year, Teo’s most memorable gift is the birthday montage prepared by her family and employees at Aivee.
