On the outside, the standard Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models look similar to their S23 counterparts and retain the same aluminium frame. The difference is that this year’s models have flattened sides, which makes them more boxy. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line S24 Ultra stands out with its titanium frame and Corning Armor glass on the front, making it more durable and scratch-resistant.
In addition, the S24 and S24 Plus don’t come with the Ultra’s built-in S Pen stylus, but they weigh less at 167g and 196g, respectively. The S24 Ultra is the heaviest in the lineup, weighing 232g.

The S24 and S24 Plus inherits the same camera specs from their predecessors but are no slouches. They boast a triple-camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, plus a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The S24 Ultra, however, takes the cake with its impressive camera system. It features a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens that can capture stunning details and zoom in on distant objects. The headline feature of the new S25 series is the new AI features. One of the features is Live Translate, which uses AI to translate texts and enables real-time two-way phone calls in 13 different languages. Another highlight is the Transcript Assist, which lets you transcribe, summarise, and translate voice recordings.
Another AI-driven feature is Note Assist, which is handy for S24 Ultra users who often jot notes down using the S Pen. Using it, users can automatically format, clean up handwriting and summarise notes at the tap of a button.

Thanks to generative AI, photographers can now access advanced photo and video editing capabilities.
