The country is gearing up for the annual F1 Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) and along with the exhilarating race comes exciting events. Case in point: The Asia Gala’s Premier Purist Group Supercar Drive and Luncheon.
Happening on September 18, the event is organised by The Asia Gala and automotive network Purist Group which has held charity drives around the world with the support of celebrities such as Daniel Wu, Sung Kang and the late Paul Walker of Fast & Furious fame. The event is dreamt up by Singapore and Shanghai-based agency Sold-Out Asia as a gathering of supercar collectors, celebrities and enthusiasts, with a charity element in partnership with The Salvation Army.

The event begins at Millenia Walk where car enthusiasts will convene before embarking on a thrilling ride with an escorted parade of 30 cars around Singapore. Get to drive alongside a line-up of supercars driven by prominent Asian figures including homegrown Mandopop star JJ Lin and Purist Group founder Sean Lee. In the spirit of giving back and sharing the supercar experience, attendees of the drive will have the option of taking one of the youths from the Gracehaven Children’s Home by The Salvation Army on a ride. The youths will also get to enjoy a meal at Capella Singapore thereafter.
The drive ends at Capella Singapore where you’ll indulge in an elegant six-course luncheon at Capella’s Grand Ballroom. Get to mingle with like-minded enthusiasts while digging into dishes prepared by the property’s renowned chefs.
