Formula One season in Singapore is almost underway and like every other year, there’s plenty to look forward to. This year’s F1 weekend falls between September 20 and 22 and to celebrate, the island is hosting plenty of events and parties to get us into the mood.
Get into the racing mood before the weekend and explore the Lego Technic Grand Brix Pop-up Experience at Wisma Atria, or head to Millenia Walk to catch a supercar drive. After the race, celebrate the winners at Manila Club’s exclusive party or head to The Clifford Pier for Amber Lounge’s 20th year anniversary.

Head to the Cosford Container Park this weekend for F1-themed activities, entertainment and more. On top of live screenings of the races, the market will feature 17 local vendors offering artisanal treats, handmade goods and more. Bring the entire family and take part in activities like the “Pit Crew” Challenge where you’ll get to test your speed and precision. Imbibers can opt to join the Cocktail Masterclass and learn to craft three F1-themed concoctions using premium spirits and fresh ingredients.

Ibiza’s exclusive nightclub Chinois Ibiza is bringing its vibes to Singapore with its wildly-themed afterparty Halo this race weekend. Taking over the Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore’s Skai Loft, look forward to a thrilling lineup of global talent including American DJ Danny Tenaglia, Dutch-born producer and DJ Chelina Manuhutu, and American remixer Roger Sanchez. 3. Art in Motion: AI Creatives at the Singapore Night Race

Come September 18 to 24, The Arts House is set to host an innovative art exhibition that blends the worlds of art and technology. Anticipate digital artworks by six Italian and Singaporean artists that explore themes of climate change, AI, and sustainability. On top of capturing the excitement of the Grand Prix, the exhibition also offers reflections on the sport’s impact.

4. Shifted Perspectives
World-renowned artist Michael Murphy puts McLaren Racing’s Formula 1 driver Lando Norris in the spotlight with his latest perceptual sculpture. Titled Shifted Perspectives, the creation is initially perceived as an unorganised mix of materials but becomes a captivating three-dimensional rendering of Norris when viewed from a particular angle. His latest work highlights perspective and the process of seeing things in a different light. Check out the piece at 39+ Art Space from September 19 to 22.

5. Supercar Drive and Luncheon

Look forward to an adrenaline-fuelled afternoon at this supercar drive and luncheon experience held in partnership with The Asia Gala and the Purist Group. Happening on September 18, the event begins at Millenia Walk and takes you on a scenic route around Singapore in a luxurious supercar. The drive ends at Capella Singapore where you’ll be treated to a six-course meal.

6. Mandala Mansions
Mandala Club’s exclusive race weekend party returns for its second edition at Mandarin Oriental’s The Pool Terrace. Happening on September 21 and 22, anticipate an exciting lineup featuring world-class DJs including DJs Samantha Ronson, Candice B and RAAJ. When it comes to food, get to dig into menus curated by Mandala Club and Mandarin Oriental’s culinary team. As the race comes to an end, you’ll also get front-row seats of the victory lap’s firework display.

Highhouse and Nova’s exclusive F1 viewing party Lap 62 lets you view the exciting 62-lap race high in the air—62 storeys high to be exact. 9. Lego Technic Grand Brix Pop-up Experience
Fans of F1 and Lego can revel in this pop-up experience. Available from September 13 to 22 at Wisma Atria, the experience features a life-sized Lego replica of the Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 car, crafted from 192,937 bricks. Get up close and admire the intricate details of the creation, from the shifting pedals to a real steering wheel made from Lego. Apart from the life-sized car, the pop-up will also offer various interactive stations like the Lego Build for Speed station where you’ll get to try replacing tyres on a Lego vehicle as fast as possible.
