High-energy opening
Seventeen never fails to ignite the crowd, and their recent performance was no exception. They began their nearly hour-long set with Super, immediately captivating the crowd. Vernon took a moment to thank the fans for their support and share his enthusiasm about performing at Lollapalooza for the first time.
A battle of units
With 13 members, it’s no surprise that Seventeen boasts multiple subgroups. What did come as a surprise, however, was how all of them delivered standout performances on the Lollapalooza stage. From SVT Leaders’ Cheers and BSS’ Fighting to the Vocal Unit’s Cheers to Youth, the Performance Unit’s Spell, and the Rap Unit’s Fire—each act was an explosive showcase of talent and skill.

Seventeen’s Jun watching with fellow carats
Jun was unable to perform with Seventeen due to prior commitments related to his acting career in China. Pledis Entertainment confirmed that his absence was the result of a scheduling conflict caused by on-location filming. Despite being unable to attend, Jun expressed his support by sharing on Weverse that he watched the performance alongside fellow carats.

A bittersweet performance
Jeonghan, born in 1995 and one of the eldest, was bound to enlist in the military, and fans had hoped he’d join Seventeen’s remaining activities for the year. However, it was announced he wouldn’t participate in the group’s world tour or promote their October release. This made Lollapalooza Berlin his final overseas performance before enlistment, which he confirmed.
