Based on a murder investigation set in Hong Kong, ‘See Her Again’ features Golden Horse Best Actor Tse Kwan-ho, Hong Kong Film Award winner Cya Liu and singer William Chan
See Her Again, produced by Tencent Video and Drama Apple, has made history by becoming the first and only Asian drama to compete for the prestigious Coup de Coeur Award at Cannes’s MipDrama screenings on April 7. MipDrama is an annual showcase of the most anticipated high-end drama series.
Directed by Wong Kwok-keung, this 18-episode crime thriller features a star-studded line-up, including Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress Cya Liu, Golden Horse Best Actor Tse Kwan-ho, singer William Chan and a guest appearance by actor and director Stephen Fung. The plot revolves around a police officer who’s investigating serial killings that took place across 25 years in Hong Kong.

Besides See Her Again, the nine other nominated entries were: Finnish mystery thriller Icebreaker—which won the Coup de Coeur award; German true crime series The Black Forest Murders; Spanish comedy Eva & Nicole; Portuguese crime drama Irreversible; historical show Miss Austen; crime series Palo Alto; French German project The Sentinels, Finland’s Valhalla Project and Czech paranormal drama We’re On It, Comrades!.
