PublicityAsia raises the bar for PR with its recent initiatives and pledge for the benefit of a global non-profit
Nearly week after week, there seems to be news that some of the biggest names in international entertainment are on their way to our shores. From Korean megastars holding their concerts and fan meetups to Hollywood A-listers headlining local campaigns and projects, it’s certainly easy to fill up any Filipino pop culture enthusiast’s calendar if they know where and who to look for.

PublicityAsia, a leading celebrity PR firm in the Philippines, is one such go-to. With affiliate offices in Los Angeles, New York, Seoul, and Bangkok alongside their main headquarters in Manila, the agency is known for its international body of work representing illustrious global luminaries—it has likely been behind some of your favourite top trending campaigns, shows and events in the last 20 years.
Now, to mark its milestone of two decades in the industry, PublicityAsia underscores how true impact transcends mere celebrity and entertainment. The firm has made a notable long-term and purpose-driven pledge toward Save the Children, a leading independent non-profit which has changed the lives of over a billion children worldwide.

In a statement, PublicityAsia founder and lead PR, Joyce A. Ramirez, thanked the organisation for their tireless efforts and for always being “the first to respond when crisis strikes and children are at [their] most vulnerable.” She also expressed, “Delivering the best work possible is very much at the core of who we are and what we do. I believe this is something we share greatly with the people behind Save the Children.”
As the powerhouse agency commemorates its 20th year, there was indeed no better way to celebrate than to give back and join hands with the global organisation in a series of initiatives.
The most fan-clamoured of the bunch would have to be “SIKcret Time in Manila”, Park Hyung Sik’s stop in Manila for his 2024 Asia Tour, held February 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. PublicityAsia was instrumental in paving the way for the event’s organisers to leave an indelible mark, not just by raising awareness and funds but also by getting the gracious participation of one of South Korea’s most famous idol-turned-actors.

With a portion of tickets dedicated to Save the Children Philippines and opportunities for fans to pledge their support, the agency raised a total of PHP 250,000 for Save the Children while promoting the recent fan meet. This initiative was greatly supported by producer MQLIVE, in partnership with South Korea’s P&STUDIO and TONZ.

Of course, PublicityAsia extended its efforts beyond the borders of the Philippines. As the event’s official fan project, international fans from Australia, Brazil, Japan, US, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Europe, South Korea, and the Philippines all came together in support of Future Vision Sighted-Blind Inc, one of Save the Children’s non-profit’s beneficiaries.
George De La Rama, Director of Advocacy, Campaigns, Communications and Media of Save the Children Philippines, said: “This is the first fan project to ever actively support Filipino children in need and for that we are forever thankful.”
Save the Children has also received financial support and backing from megastars including Suga of BTS and Jisoo of Blackpink; meanwhile, PublicityAsia has committed to allocate a portion of its income from the event and to do pro bono work to help children most impacted by inequality and discrimination.
The goal now is that this feat sparks many more very soon. The reputable PR firm’s fortified, long-term commitment is undoubtedly an inspiration, illustrating how star power can be harnessed for social good, as well as what it takes to carve a legacy beyond celebrity and entertainment. Setting the bar high as it gears up for another jam-packed year, PublicityAsia’s course forward undeniably gleams bright.
