The Guardian reported that it has seen an advance copy of Prince Harry’s highly anticipated memoir, Spare
Prince Harry's upcoming autobiography, Spare, sheds light on his life at Buckingham Palace and is set to launch on January 10. Ahead of the release, British newspaper The Guardian just revealed an exclusive excerpt of the royal’s controversial and highly anticipated book—a conversation between Prince Harry and Prince William that apparently escalated into a physical fight.
According to The Guardian, the conversation between the two royals occurred in 2019, at Harry's then-home, Nottingham Cottage, which is located within the grounds of Kensington Palace. During the said conversation, the Prince of Wales is said to have described Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, as “difficult”, “rude”, and “abrasive”.
The heated exchange had left Harry injured.
“[William] grabbed me by the collar… and knocked me to the floor,” Harry reportedly wrote, according to The Guardian.
“It all happened so fast. So very fast… I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
Following the altercation, William reportedly urged Harry to hit back but refused. Harry recalled that his brother looked regretful and apologised soon after.
