Asprey Studio and Marvel have unveiled their first-ever collection of one-of-one digital and physical artworks honouring some of Marvel’s most legendary comic book characters
Marvel announced the collaboration this month with Asprey Studio, a London-based contemporary art gallery, design atelier and members’ club launched in 2021 by the 242-year-old luxury house Asprey. Titled Marvel Masterpieces Avengers: Asprey Studio Collection, the initiative celebrates the legacy of some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes and villains.
The collection features 60 characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, each reimagined as a one-of-a-kind sterling silver sculpture paired with a corresponding digital artwork. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Thanos are also being crafted as one-metre-high sculptures, each a single edition piece.
Handcrafted by silversmiths at Asprey Studio Atelier in Kent, the pieces merge traditional silversmithing with modern digital processes. Each figure begins as a digital clay model reconstructed from early comic frames before progressing through frame-by-frame animation. The final artwork is then cast and finished by hand in sterling silver.

“Working closely with Marvel, we wanted to retain the soul of each character as well as their appearance as closely as possible,” says Alastair Walker, chief creative officer of Asprey Studio. “Each digital artwork is ‘alive’—it moves very subtly and unpredictably. The average person spends 27 seconds looking at art, so we wanted the digital artwork to appear slightly different each time you see it.” The digital editions are accessible via the Ethereum blockchain.
All pieces are one-of-one, which Walker notes ensures heightened rarity and value for collectors. As an added bonus, owners will receive a specially commissioned limited-edition comic book.

The sculptures are priced between HK$270,000 and HK$1.6 million (approximately US$35,000 to US$200,000). The collection has been previewed at private events in London and New York, with a further exhibition scheduled for December 12, 2025, at The Palace Downtown in Dubai.
“Comics are the mythology of our time,” says John Rigas, chairman of Asprey International. “I am delighted that Asprey Studio has brought these mythological heroes to life, reimagining them as digital art that embraces the latest technological advancements and as exquisite silver sculptures representing more than 500 years of British silversmithing excellence.
