This February is promising to be a buzzy month, not only do we have Lunar New Year celebrations—complete with fireworks this time—and Valentine’s Day, but also the much-anticipated Tatler XFEST which will see football legends like Lionel Messi take to the field against our city’s very own players. But those are not the only exciting happenings that are taking place this month, we also have K-pop concerts, forward-looking exhibitions and much more. ‘Green Snake: Women-centred ecologies’ exhibition
When: until April 1
Where: Tai Kwun, Central
What: This exhibition gathers more than 30 artists and collectives from 20 countries to present over 60 works that explore the connections between art, gender, and ecology. It aims to look at alternative voices that re-imagine our relationship with the future.
NCT 127’s ‘Neo City: Macau—The Unity’ concert
When: February 3-4
Where: Galaxy Macau
What: K-pop group NCT 127 is coming to Macau to celebrate its seventh anniversary. The city is one of the six other destinations the boyband will visit after their concert in South Korea. Only a few tickets are left for what will be two memorable nights.
Discovery Bay Chinese New Year Sunday Market

Where: Discovery Bay Plaza
What: Discovery Bay’s popular Sunday Market is hosting a special Chinese New Year event on February 4. What: The Chinese New Year fireworks show is returning to Hong Kong. Organisers announced that the 23-minute extravaganza will be held on February 11 at 8pm. Be sure to arrive early to get a good spot.
Tatler XFEST Hong Kong
When: February 3-4
Where: Hong Kong Stadium
What: In partnership with Tatler Asia, David Beckham and Inter Miami CF will bring a star-studded football line-up to Asia’s World City for a special exhibition match against Hong Kong’s very own team, as part of Tatler XFEST.
Apart from the high-profile football game featuring Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and their Inter Miami CF team mates, there will be an entertainment line-up where some of Asia’s top music performers will take to the stage: Hong Kong’s very-own pop diva G.E.M., pop sensation Anson Lo and Keung To of Canto-pop boyband Mirror, and rising star Gareth.T.
