She first rose to fame as a soap opera actor
Before making her way stateside, Robbie made a name for herself as a recurring actor on the long-running Australian drama series Neighbors, where she played the character Donna Freedman. She left the series in 2011 when she decided to pursue a career in Hollywood.

As part of her many hobbies, Robbie was an amateur tattoo artist, a fascination she developed while on the set of her 2016 film Suicide Squad. She had a long professional relationship with Chanel
Robbie signed on as a Chanel brand ambassador in 2018, the last to be chosen by Karl Lagerfeld before his death a year later. She appeared in several custom and archival pieces over the years. However, she was criticised for her lacklustre Chanel looks, with fans online pleading with her stylist, Kate Young, to “free her” from the contract. She has since been released from the endorsement deal, attending the 2022 Governor’s Ball in Bottega Veneta.
