Singer, dancer, actress and fashion icon, Jisoo has no shortage of talent—that fact that she’s lead vocalist and the “visual” in one of the most famous K-pop groups out there, Blackpink, is just the tip of the iceberg. 

She is a global ambassador for Dior, as well as for Cartier, and has also debuted her acting chops as the romantic lead in the new K-drama Snowdrop in December 2021.

1. Jisoo is multilingual

Jisoo most probably can communicate with fans around the world as she's multilingual. The singer can speak or understand a few languages including Japanese, English, and even Chinese.

2. Jisoo has a dog named 'Dalgom'

Dalgom, Jisoo's dog, is a white Maltese dog that's as sweet as the South Korean singer. She raised Dalgom since her pet was a pup. She would spoil her furbaby with luxury gifts, including a Dior bag.

3. Jisoo reads a lot

The artist is also quite the bookworm. Jisoo is known to always carry a book and often recommends a few titles to her fans. She's read In Search Of Lost Time by Marcel Proust, Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, and F Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby to name a few.

4. Jisoo is a friend of TWICE's Nayeon

Jisoo's quite close with TWICE's Nayeon. Of course, Jisoo gave the TWICE member a nickname—Cold Nadongie—which Jisoo thought of when she saw her wrestle at the Idol Star Athletics Championships. The two have been friends for years.

5. Jisoo loves Princess Jasmine

In an interview with Disney+, Jisoo revealed that her favourite princess is Jasmine from Aladdin. The singer has always been a fan of Disney cartoons and admits that she still continues to watch a few flicks until now.

6. She is staring in a new K-drama with leading man, Jung Hae-in

Much to the excitement of Blinks, Blackpink's oldest member is adding leading actress to her long list of achievements. Starring opposite breakout star Jung Hae-in (Something in the RainDPTune in for Love), Jisoo plays Eun, a college student who meets and eventually falls in love with an armed spy, Im (Jung Hae-in). The drama is set in 1987, a tumultuous time in the political history of South Korea. Due to this, it's been met with backlash and skepticism from fans. Will Jisoo and Jung Hae-in pull off the ambitious plot? Only time will tell.

7. Jisoo loves creating nicknames

Many Jisoo stans would know that the artist enjoys creating nicknames for the other members of Blackpink. She comes up with different words out of expressions. She would call Jennie"Jendeukie" which is a combination of Jennie and Jjindeuk (clingy), "Pasta" for Rosé, and "Nallalisa" for Lisa.
