Watch the trailer for 'MH370: The Plane That Disappeared', a new Netflix documentary about one of the most shocking aviation mysteries ever
A new film about the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will start streaming on Netflix in early March. Titled MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, the three-part documentary explores the many questions surrounding the vanishing of the Boeing 777 plane in 2014 that was on a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with a total of 239 passengers and crew on board. The plane lost contact an hour into its flight.

A snippet of the synopsis from Netflix reads: "It’s a story full of conspiracies and rabbit holes, shadowy figures and official silence—but most of all, it’s an opportunity to keep alive the memory of those who were lost in one of the great unsolved mysteries of our time and to keep pushing for answers."

The film reconstructs the night of the disappearance with archives, bolstering the narrative with interviews with "family members, scientists, journalists and the ordinary people around the world who refuse to give up hope of an explanation."
Its premiere date on March 8, 2023, will also mark the nine-year anniversary of MH370 disappearance.
