What better way to celebrate J-Hope's comeback than to listen to some of his best hits
With his impending mandatory military service trudging closer, it won't be much of a shock if J-Hope lies low and rests before he enters the force. It was a pleasant surprise, however, when Big Hit Entertainment announced the release of his new single "on the street" featuring rapper J Cole on March 3.
J-Hope has always been a contradiction, often showing a bright, positive image but completely swerving the other way when performing. His seriousness and dedication to his art mould his character—and army and casual fans alike can't help but look forward to what he does next, especially after showing his darker side with Jack in the Box. However, with his new single, he goes back to his roots. On the street is described as a lo-fi hip-hop track with a hopeful message, easy-listening melody, and warm-hearted lyrics.
