Here's how you can explore the splendour of Filipino heritage with Renacimiento Manila

Renacimiento Manila is working towards a better Manila. Formed by a group of volunteers—ranging from artists, creators, and history enthusiasts—this cultural organisation supports heritage conservation. It encourages the government and others to work towards this goal by promoting our rich culture and producing art.

The name is Spanish for "Rebirth Manila", which highlights the organisation's core mission to conserve and enlighten the new generations about the beauty of Old Manila.

The organisation holds Heritage Walks where you can have an on-site learning experience while strolling along the streets of Manila.

Only recently, a walk dedicated to the Pasig river was held on January 7 where historical sites and heritage structures were explored. The next day, interested guests were able to appreciate the district of San Nicolas through the San Nicolas Heritage Walk.

On January 14, from 9am to 12:30pm for only PHP300 per head, guests can join the Noli and Fili Themed Heritage Walk titled, "LAKAD PAMANA: Ang Maynila nina Ibarra at Maria Clara" following the new interest in this Filipino classic written by the great novelist and National Hero of the Philippines, Dr Jose Rizal.

This special walk, in partnership with Heritage Collective and featuring the participation of the Republica Filipina Reenactment Groupwill take guests to several areas and institutions mentioned in the books.
