Coming from all over the world, the cast of ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ promises a spectacular Manila season
The Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen is coming to the Philippines this September and GMG Productions have just announced the beloved show’s international tour cast. For the first time ever, Filipino audiences will get to experience the musical that captivated the world live on stage.
“We’re pleased to officially introduce the cast bringing life to Dear Evan Hansen to Manila. It’s always exciting to bring a major production like this to Manila. We’ve assembled a fantastic cast, and we’re looking forward to seeing how audiences connect with their performances,” says Carlos Candal, CEO of GMG Productions.

Bringing the titular character to life, Ellis Kirk returns to the musical after appearing in London’s West End of Dear Evan Hansen where he served as the understudy for Connor Murphy and Evan Hansen. He is joined by another West End veteran, Rebecca McKinnis who will be reprising her role as Heidi Hansen. Helen Anker will be portraying Cynthia Murphy, who you might have seen in the Asian tour of Mamma Mia!

Rounding out the cast are Zoë Athena as Zoe Murphy, Hal Fowler as Larry Murphy, Rhys Hopkins as Connor Murphy, Tom Dickerson as Jared Kleinman and Olivia-Faith Kamau as Alana Beck. Sonny Monaghan will be playing the alternate Evan Hansen—just as he does on London’s West End. The lively ensemble comprises of Jake Halsey-Jones, Sheri Lineham, Joseph Peacock, Annie Southall and Ashlyn Weekes.
In addition to the cast announcement, GMG Productions has confirmed that the Manila leg of the tour will be extended until October 5, 2025, due to popular demand.
