At the heart of the bustling Rockwell community rises the Proscenium Theater, a new state-of-the-art haven for performing arts, with the West End hit spectacle ‘The Bodyguard Musical’

Tickets have begun to be available for sale on July 9 via Ticketworld for the much-anticipated 9Works Theatrical’s production of The Bodyguard Musical, which will be inaugurating the all-new Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati.

Opening in September 2025, Proscenium Theater is formally offering to the country’s vibrant performing arts scene its state-of-the-art, 16 x 16-metre stage. Fully automated with fly lines and an orchestra pit, the theatre is engineered to deliver spectacular productions. Slated to don the “Queen of the Night” diva, Rachel Marron, is West End actor and Grammy-nominee Christine Allado.

And what better way to open its doors with the immersive and unforgettable musical adaptation of the iconic 1992 film The Bodyguard? Known for its gripping blend of romance, suspense and timeless music, The Bodyguard Musical reimagines the story of global superstar Rachel Marron (Christine Allado) and the former Secret Service agent assigned to protect her.

A smash hit on London’s West End and staged in over 15 countries worldwide, the musical spectacle brings the phenomenal energy it is known for to Metro Manila through 9Works Theatrical’s masterful hands. The local production will be directed by Robbie Guevara, with Daniel Bartolome serving as its musical director.

The all-new theatre promises to deliver the inimitable spectacle and theatrical flair of the said musical with its technical amenities. Moreover, even the farthest seats in its Dress Circle, just 20 metres from the stage, offer a clear, immersive view, The Proscenium Theater’s management expressed in a statement.

Moreover, Proscenium Retail Row offers a curated selection of dining destinations just steps from the theatre doors, perfect for pre-show conversations or post-performance celebrations.
