Boutique hospitality meets Italian craft in a unique collaboration between Wolo Mont Kiara KL and Ambient Living
At Wolo Mont Kiara KL, design begins long before furniture enters a space. It begins with atmosphere, proportion, and the relationship between architecture, light, and experience: the details that shape how people gather, retreat, and feel at home.
The development brings together a boutique hotel affiliated with Design Hotels and part of Marriott Bonvoy, alongside residences rooted in the same philosophy. Architecture and interiors are designed as one continuous environment, shaped by hospitality, culture, and experience. Born from the belief We Only Live Once, Wolo Mont Kiara KL places intentional living at the centre of its thinking, shaping not only how spaces look, but how they are experienced.

To bring its vision into form, Wolo Mont Kiara KL assembled regional and international creative voices spanning architecture, landscape, hospitality, and design. OPENBOX Architects shaped concept architecture alongside VERITAS as project architect, while Shma guided landscape thinking across the development. Hospitality interiors by EZHEN Design and residential interiors by 932 Design Group reinforce a cohesive design language throughout, while lighting by The Flaming Beacon completes the atmosphere.

“We weren’t looking at furniture as a finishing touch, but as an integral part of how the space is experienced,” says Alan Wong Brand Director of Magma Property. “Ambient Living has a very refined approach. There’s a sense of balance, restraint, and clarity in how they curate.”

The same thinking extends into the residences across three unit typologies, each delivered fully fitted and furnished. The Type S, at 606 sq ft, accommodates two bedrooms, a balconied living area, dining, and kitchen within a compact plan. The Type M, at 780 sq ft, adds a dedicated study room. At 987 sq ft, the Type L introduces a third bathroom and the additional circulation that multigenerational households require. Each unit arrives with integrated kitchen cabinetry, dining benches, headboards, wardrobes, and fitted lighting, with the same level of specification applied consistently across every type.
