Solaire Resort North officially opened to the public, taking its place in Quezon City as the newest go-to destination for locals and tourists alike
On May 25, 2024, Solaire Resort North welcomed esteemed guests with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was well-attended by select VIPs, with guests of honour President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr and First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos.
The programme was hosted by Martin Nievera who energetically welcomed the crowd. Bloomberry Resorts Corporation Chairman and CEO, Enrique Razon Jr, spoke about the long journey that led to the opening of Solaire Resort North, a US$1 billion property touted to be the new gem of the north. President Marcos, Jr took to the podium and underscored the importance of the property in uplifting the economic and touristic value of Quezon City, providing jobs and new opportunities in the area.

After the ribbon-cutting, the main entrance doors of Solaire Resort North finally opened and the programme attendees shuffled in to see the massive and well-appointed lobby. An art installation, aptly named The Mangrove by Nikolas Weinstein, stands tall in the middle of the atrium. The 38-storey property boasts four gaming levels, 530 guest rooms and suites, the standout of which is their three-bedroom Diamond Suite at 382 square metres. 14 dining options also await visitors, including new branches of well-loved restaurants Yakumi, Finestra and Red Lantern.

As the momentous opening ceremony drew to a close, VIPs filtered through the establishment to explore its state-of-the-art facilities. Celebrity sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis graced an opening function alongside many notable KOLs and entertainment industry giants. In a well of support, friends of the Razon family gathered at Yakumi for dinner and drinks; among the attendees was Tatler Philippines Managing Director Irene Martel Francisco. The celebrations continued across each floor, commemorating the night with good cheer, food and excitement as Solaire entered a new chapter.

As a testament to its much-anticipated opening, a long line of eager patrons circled the block, vying to explore the newly minted hub. Solaire Resort North signals a new dawn for Metro Manila, permanently changing the area’s entertainment landscape and strengthening Quezon City’s stake as a world-class destination.
